"I am genuinely blessed to be a part of Sustainer Home Care. This company has shown me what it means to truly appreciate others." |
We Match You with Caregivers who Live Close By
In addition to hiring for experience and heart, we match you with caregivers who live close. That means our caregivers will be there when you want them to be - not when they can schedule you in.
Caregivers who live close can be there quickly, in case of an immediate need. With less time commuting, there is less chance of being delayed due to traffic. This is especially true in some of the outlying areas like Ramona, Julian, Fallbrook and Valley Center.

Special Recognition of Service
All our caregivers are super stars but occasionally we recognize those who shine a little brighter.
Jessica U is kind and compassionate. She is another caregiver that is very experienced and we can put her on any case. All the clients love Jessica. When you look the word Sweet up in the dictionary you will find a picture of Jessica.
I’ve been a caregiver for 8 years in assisted living facilities and private home settings but none compare to working for Sustainer Home Care. Since I started working for Brandi and her team, they have been focused on providing excellent service not only to customers but also their employees. They are genuine, empathic, and family oriented. I’m happy to come to work every day and I love the connection I get to build with our clients. I am extremely grateful to be a part of this company. |
Joelle M has a special heart for our veterans. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience. We can put her on any case and know that she will be dependable and get the job done.
I enjoy my job because I was on the other side being a 24/7 live in for 4.5 years and I know important it is to have the client feel comfortable, safe and happy in their own home. I love assisting them to allow them to do the things they enjoy like baking, getting outdoors and so much more. I enjoy focusing on the back country because it is harder to find the in home help that is needed by our clients in these areas. |
Elizabeth “Liz”, is one cool cat. Put her with a high strung client and she is mellow and professional. Nothing seems to phase her. She is always dependable and willing to jump in and help out.
I am grateful for this opportunity to serve the Senior Community, doing for others is a passion of mine. Since beginning my career with Sustainer Home Care, I've heard all great things about this Company. I've been working with The Senior Community, in some capacity for going on 10 years, and although I am The Caregiver, I also believe I gain so much while in the company of our precious Clients. Spending One on One time with each Client, You learn a great deal. I value others very much, and I am Happy to be able to show them how much I care about them |
Sue is like a tree planted by the water. She is a rock. Like many of our caregivers, she has many years of experience. If you need to get something done, call Sue. She is extremely organized and detailed oriented. The best part about Sue is her heart. She genuinely cares for her clients, who say they can't live without her.
Caregiving has been my life in one way or another. In high school I became a nurse's aide and cared for seniors and loved it. I later went in a different direction and ran a home childcare for 27 years. My mom had to be placed in a nursing home and I saw how miserable she was there. I decided to retire and moved Mom into my home. She thrived for several years. After her passing, I felt so lost. I was fortunate to be hired by Sustainer Home Care and I feel I have a purpose again. It is so satisfying to know that we are helping to keep our clients in the comfort of their own homes. |
Ramona is wonderful! She always gets her work done in a timely manner. She is very dependable and organized. She has a gentle spirit and has been with her current client for years. If only we could clone her.
Mae is a little dynamo. She came to us with quite a bit of experience and has done a great job for us. We can put her with anybody and know, with confidence, that they will get excellent care.
I've always wanted to help people my whole life. Just to be able to give back and help with the little things. No one wants to get sick or come down with a condition but unfortunately we all do. It's nice when you have a caring person with a smile. I truly believe most caregivers thrive on that smile from the person they are helping. I'm thankful that I'm able to be a part of this beautiful company. |
Three words describe Anthony kind, compassionate, and dependable. He is a favorite no matter which client we put him with. He genuinely cares for his clients and treats them with dignity and respect. He is a light wherever he goes!
Throughout my life I have always felt a special connection to seniors. I guess you could say I'm an old soul. Being able to be of aid to those in need gives me great satisfaction because I know I'm making a difference. It's a pleasure to be able to make someone's life easier and brighten up their day. |
Carolyn is an awesome employee. We always try to match clients with a caregiver who has the right personality. Carolyn and her client are like peanut butter and jelly, they belong together. Carolyn is dependable, kind, and caring. About a month after Carolyn started working with her client, we received a call from the client singing her praises. Aww, music to our ears! Thanks, Carolyn, for all you do! Keep up the great work.
When an individual decides to stay in the comfort of their own home I love to be there and help make that happen. Treating that person with as much dignity as they deserve. You become part of the family which is a big plus. |
Lynette is one of our most experienced caregivers. She has an excellent work ethic and takes care of the details. She is always ready to jump in and fill a shift when needed. Her professionalism and tender heart make her a compassionate and dedicated employee. Her clients love her and request her first.
My first experience with elder care was taking care of my mom who was a R.N.B.S.N. I didn't realize at that time how much she taught me. She passed away too early because of many medical mishaps. So at that time I promised her and myself that if I could keep that from happening to anyone else. I would with all my heart!! I've been doing that for going on 10 years. |
Victoria is one of our favorite caregivers. She is hard-working and dependable. She always has a smile. Her clients love her and never want her to leave.
I love my job as a caregiver because at the end of the day I feel as though I've made a difference. It's so rewarding to be able to help people and to make it easier for them to go about their day-to-day lives. I particularly enjoy when I get to prepare meals, and when my clients share their stories and words of wisdom with me! |
